April 6th – “Dancing with God” presented by Arts Alive- Burlington First United Methodist Church (Love offering admission) Time: 3PM - 4:30PM (food/supplies donation encouraged)

April 13th – “Piano Concert” performed by Ms. Barbara Lister-Sink from Linwood, concert pianist and on staff at Salem College Grace Episcopal Church (Love offering admission) Time: 3PM - 4:30PM (food/supplies donation encouraged) NOTE: This performace has been postponed. Keep checking the website for make up performance date.

April 20th- “Gullah Spiritual Celebration” performed by the Magnolia Singers from Charleston, SC sharing their Gullah culture and the spirit of God in their music. St. Stephen United Methodist Church (Love offering admission) Time: 3PM - 4:30PM (food/supplies donation encouraged)

Carolina Country Nights Concert

Country music has roots here in the Carolinas. Lexington is fortunate to have very talented country entertainers. This Event brings Lexington's own Gary & Lee Hedrick and the Dime a Dozen Band and the Hickory Area (Hudson, NC) Tim Hall and Buffalo Country together on stage for this concert.

Gates open at 5pm till 10:30pm Tickets are $8.00 in advance - $10 at the gate.

“Shaggin Off Main” Beach Music Festival

Night of Carolina Blues

There are many genres of music across the Carolinas. The “Night of Carolina Blues” will bring Ms. Pat “Mama Blues” Cohen to Lexington for this unique evening. Ms. Cohen lives in Spencer, NC where she relocated after Hurricane Katrina. Her talent and charm will create an incredible experience as we transform the Civic Center ballroom into a French Quarter club or a pub on the streets of Wilmington for this magical evening. Tickets are $10.

Taste of Lexington Wine and Jazz Festival

New for 2008, the “Wine and Jazz Festival” offers visitors another “Taste” of Lexington. This event celebrates Lexington’s position along the Yadkin Valley in the midst of the vineyards and wineries that dot the landscape, not only along the valley, but across the Carolinas. Also, we have invited a list of wonderful jazz talent from across both Carolinas to create an afternoon of great wines and jazz music.
