What is the Taste of Lexington
The 2nd Annual Taste of Lexington will be comprised of a month full of events, with the actual Taste of Lexington event being held on Friday, April 27th and Saturday, April 28th. Please see the Events Page for a description of all events. Proceeds go to benefit local charities.

When and where is Taste of Lexington held
The 2nd Annual Taste of Lexington will be held on Friday, April 27th from 6:00 to 11:00pm and Saturday, April 28th from 11:00am to 6:00pm. All restaurants booths will be in the Ballroom of the Edward C. Smith Civic Center. FREE PARKING is available beside the Edward C. Smith Civic Center.

Is there an admission fee
There is no admission fee; however, in order to sample any of the delicious foods or refreshing beverages, you must pay for them with Dinner Dollars.

Where can I purchase Dinner Dollars
Dinner Dollars will be available at exchange tables in the Ballroom both Friday and Saturday during the Taste of Lexington event. They will be available on a direct exchange basis, $1.00 for 1 Dinner Dollar. All food and drinks must be purchased with Dinner Dollars.

Will there be alcohol
Yes. Silver Eagle Distributors, Childress Wineries, and Old Stone Winery will have alcoholic beverages for sale; however, they reserve the right to discontinue sales at any point to any person or persons.

Who benefits from the Taste of Lexington
Local charities, including Davidson County Cancer Services, Pastor’s Pantry, and Arts United, will all benefit from the Taste of Lexington proceeds. For more information on the charities involved, please visit our Charities Page.
